Some students think that completing a college application is like writing a book. Not so. Many applications are found online at the college website and the colleges prefer that you complete the online version.

First: Find out what the application looks like. You can print a copy off the college website, or in not available, contact the college and request a printed version.

Second: A great tip is to get that printed copy and fill it our for practice before you complete the online version. Each college application is different. You will find some that are a few pages long and some that might be fifteen pages long.
