Jackie Stash is the Director of the Northeastern PA Tech Prep Consortium, the Regional Career Education Partnership and Project Manager of the PA Youth in Transition research project. Jackie has been with the consortium since July of 1994 becoming the director in November of 1994. She is a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. Jackie has Associates and Bachelors degrees in Engineering Technology and a Masters of Education Degree from Penn State University. Prior to coming to LCCC, she worked for 10 years in industry as an engineering technician - the last four years at the Berwick Nuclear power plant as a project engineer. Jackie is the Administrative Director of the consortium and its various projects. She provides technical support to regional schools in obtaining and maintaining PDE program approval, assists schools in developing and maintaining programs of study and coordinates the professional development services of the consortium. Colleen Angel is the Student Services Coordinator for the Northeastern PA Tech Prep Consortium. Her services include visiting the high schools in our consortia; coordinating student visits to various colleges for a day; writing our newsletter; monitoring the Leadership Academy; and coordinator of the Educator in the Workplace program. Mrs. Angel holds a Bachlors Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences. She has many high distinctions which include: being Teacher of the Year in 1999; a Top Ten Teacher in the nation by AAFCS. She still teaches a course online called Real Life 101 for the Carlisle Area School District, along with being an instructor at Luzerne County Community College. Kenneth G. Kirk is a consultant for the Northeastern PA Tech Prep Consortium for the last 10 years. He was instrumental in the original planning and development of the Tech Prep proposal and the organization and formation of the Tech Prep Consortium with the LEA being LCCC. He assists schools to ensure seamless transition from high school to college programs. Ken is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Education and a Masters Degree from Penn State University in Business Education. In addition, he holds two Administrative Certificates: Assistant Superintendent of Schools and Administrative Vocational Education. Mr. Kirk is a retired Business Education Teacher and a PDE Advisor/Field Supervisor.
Jack Gallo is a native of Scranton. He has been a consultant for the past three years at the Northeastern PA Tech Prep Consortium. He ensures that each school in the consortia has updated Articulation Agreements. Before joining Tech Prep, Mr. Gallo was the Tunkhannock High School Principal. He has Bachelors Degree in English from Lebanon Valley College and a Masters of Science Degree in Secondary Administration from the University of Scranton. James Gialanella is an alumnus of Wyoming Valley West High School. His post-secondary education includes a Bachelors Degree in History from King's College, a Masters Degree in History from Lehigh University, Certification in Cooperative Education through Temple University, and coursework in Workforce Development at Penn State University. Mr. Gialanella’s professional experience includes 33 years as a Cooperative Education and School-To-Work Coordinator. Mr. Gialanella’s last secondary position of 20 years was at Tunkhannock Area School District. He also taught graduate level courses in Cooperative Education for Penn State and Temple Universities. He has been the President of the NE PA and State Cooperative Education Associations, co-founder and coordinator of PA Cooperative Education Association Scholarship Program and named the State Association’s “Cooperative Education Coordinator of the Year” in 2002.
